Anyone who was/is born post apartheid era (post 1994) is considered to be born free because they haven’t lived long enough to experience the struggle (Apartheid).
Yoh, I might be a born free ne but that scene on A Place Called Home where the father was humiliated in front of his wife and kids by the police and ended even peeing in his pants, opened my eyes to how big of a crime against humanity, apartheid was.
